What is the annual price per student?
Canada: CAD $35 per student per year for one language, currently CAD $29. United States: US $39 per student per year per language. Larger implementations receive tailored pricing.

Can a full school receive a lower rate?
Yes. Rates go down with full-school implementation and the number of student licences needed. Contact Smash for a school-specific quote.
Are there additional reductions for boards and districts?
Yes. Board and district implementations can receive further reductions. The proposal depends on participating schools, learner numbers and program needs.
Plans & what’s included
Can we lock in pricing with a multi-year agreement?
Yes. Price-lock options are available for eligible multi-year agreements. Planning ahead? Ask whether your plan allows you to lock in pricing, and confirm the agreed rate and duration in your proposal.
Are curriculum and software updates included?
Standard updates to the curriculum and platform within your subscribed program are included during your active subscription, unless your plan or agreement specifies otherwise. Any separately priced offering will be identified in the applicable offer or agreement.
Confirm program access, licence numbers, subscription dates, billing, applicable taxes, renewal conditions and the training or support included in your proposal.
Is Smash Canadian, and do import tariffs apply?
Yes. Smash Education is a Canadian company, founded in 2015. Canadian and U.S. customers do not pay import tariffs on Smash’s online subscription: access is delivered digitally, with no physical goods shipped across the border. Applicable sales taxes are separate and may apply.
Yes. Ask about the Smash School Pilot Program. Qualifying schools may receive no-cost use through the end of the school year, with setup guidance, classroom use and a final results conversation. Eligibility and arrangements are confirmed with Smash.
They are separate offers. School licences use annual per-student, per-language pricing. Canadian individual home-learning plans start at CAD $49 for one month per person, or CAD $360 upfront for 12 months (CAD $30/month equivalent).
